Men's Retreat March 2007

We just got back from Double K Ranch (Check out their website here) in Easton WA.

The theme of the weekend was "Being Missional Men"
Without going into too much detail, we had an awesome time. We had 4 sessions total (Don Wahl took Friday evening and Rob Vajko took the rest). We used some great tools to assess our individual strengths and weaknesses and worked at trying to understand how to prioritize our time and our relationships in order to be available to God for the individual mission that He has for each one of us. Don Wahl shared about the need to be obedient; the need to allow God to get the self out of the way; how we need to allow God to do what He wants to do in our lives in order to clarify the mission.

The rest of the time was spent hiking and playing near water (Boys will be boys, after all). Hats off to the staff of the Double K for the great food and awesome facilities. The whole weekend one that smelled of firewood (As it should in the moutains).
